One left by plane
One left by train
Doesn’t matter
They’re gone just the same
Everything changes the first
Time that they leave
Childhood vanishes in teary eyed mists
Into adulthood they leave
Will they need me a parent?
I hope so for my sake
My heartfelt lament
As their own life they make.
