It is hard for me to believe anything anymore. The news and social media are spewing out half truths and blatant lies. I have decided to rely on my seventy years of experience to form my opinion of “Climate Change”.

I worked outside year round since the late sixties. Every winter had its unique personality. I experienced each one up close and personal.

The early seventies winters  seemed to get colder and longer with each passing year. Life outdoors became harsh, almost unbearable. I remember reading in Time magazine that all indications were that we were heading into another Ice Age.

The blizzard of nineteen-seventy eight shut down all commerce for a long time. That was a real struggle to dig out of and actually get anything done beside shoveling snow.!The seventies blended into the eighties.

I remember the early eighties very well. Christmas day one year was fifteen below zero! Maybe there is something to this Ice Age business after all.
